Stair treads

Stair treads STO are made from platform gratings, side edging plates and anti-slip angles.

Stair treads of gratings

Stair treads STO are made from platform gratings, side edging plates and anti-slip angles. Any pressed grating or welded grating, or anti-slip grating that we manufacture may be used to manufacture stair treads.

Side plates with mounting holes are used to fasten a stair tread to the structure. Perforated strips placed along bearing bar filling a grating work as anti-slip protection.

Stair tread - characteristic

Our stair treads are manufactured in compliance with DIN 24531. Load bearing bars and mesh in platform grating used to fill stair tread are made according to our Grating Manufacturing Plan.

There are holes in side plates with diameters of Φ13 mm and Φ13x25 mm to fasten treads to the stair structure. The spacing between mounting holes "n" for typical tread widths is shown in the table.

In addition to stair treads with standard dimensions and standard mesh sizes we can manufacture tread of any dimensions desired by our customers.
Each stair tread is fixed to stringers with 4 M12x35 screws which are hot-dip galvanised in compliance with DIN 558 [+ M12 nut (DIN 555) and A13 washer (DIN 125)].
